I saw the piece yesterday in Hebbel am Ufer. I loved it. Being a performance artist within the visual approche, it inspired me a lot and I could describe many things which got me into interesting thoughts. I chose to share here just one of them:
Being aware of the smallest mouvement counting in the whole piece.. For ex. I could observe how Cédric Andrieux's left hand during his narration changed and relaxed progressively as the piece developped. I observed it because he made the thumb and the middle finger touch each other like this was his free "room" as the whole boddy was under the concentration and controle of the mind. Progressively from being a very small and intimate mouvement and discret emotionel like and contained mouvement it developped to nearly be that letting himself go, the whole hand was mouving. He did not though let it come up, no but when I observed the gesture, I was in contact with the way of talking in certain cultures mouving the hands a lot as the words come out in the room. Anyway thank you very much for a great perfromance ! Agnès
